Ingredients

For cheesy macaroni

30 gUnsalted butter
15 gYellow onion, chopped
5 gGarlic, chopped
60 gWhipping cream
2Cheddar cheese slices
1/4 tspSalt
1/4 tspWhite pepper
80 gSan Remo Macaroni
A pinch of mixed herbs

For chicken meatballs

320gMinced chicken
10gBread crumbs
1Egg yolk
1 tspWorcestershire sauce
1 tspWhite pepper
1/2 tspSalt
2 tbspUnsalted butter

Method

  1. Cook San Remo Macaroni according to the packet instructions.
  2. For cheesy macaroni, melt unsalted butter in a saucepan and sauté onion and garlic until fragrant. Add in whipping cream, cheddar cheese slices, mixed herbs, salt and white pepper. Stir well.
  3. Next, add in San Remo Macaroni and mix well. Set aside to cool.
  4. For chicken meatballs, mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Divide the mixture into 6 balls. Firm up the meatballs and make a hole in the centre. Stuff the meatballs with cheesy macaroni. Then pan fry meatballs with unsalted butter.
  5. Serve warm with tomato sauce or pasta sauce.
