Ingredients

250 gPasta Bolognese Sauce
2 pcsCheese Slices (pale white)
3Eggs
4 pcsSeaweed
200 gVermiceilli
Round Shape Cutter (size 1 - 4)

Method

  1. Simmer the bolognese sauce and create the shape of a lion’s head on a flat round plate
  2. Whisk egg and fry a thin omelette. Once cooked, carefully cut out a round shape. This will be the lion’s mane
  3. Use round cookie cutters of different sizes to create cheese circles for the lion’s eyes and nose
  4. Snip our slightly smaller seaweed circles than the largest cheese circle
  5. Arrange the cheese and seaweed circles on the lion head sauce, creating playful eyes that sparkle with mischief
  6. Cook the vermicelli noodles according to package instructions until al dente.
  7. Wrap the noodles around a chopstick to create curly “moustaches” for the lion. Place them strategically on the plate
  8. Snip out seaweed lashes and teeth for the lion. Cut a small crescent from the omelette and place it below the moustache for a cheeky mouth.
